A 62' Custom charter boat built by Resmondo Boatworks, Perdido Beach, Alabama.
Necessity is a 62’ 1999 custom charter boat built by Resmondo Boatworks, Perdido Beach, Alabama. It is one of seven boats of its kind built by the Resmondo brothers.
It was constructed under stringent USCG supervision as a multi-passenger vessel. Previously she was harbored in Orange Beach, Alabama and chartered under the area’s well known Captain Ben Fairey. In Alabama, with Captain Ben at the helm, Necessity was chartered for both inshore and long range offshore fishing.
The Necessity was purchased by Nags Creek Charters, Inc. in September of 2015. With Captain Bob Higgins at the helm, the Necessity and crew made the 1,900 mile journey to her new home in Rhode Island.
